  3. How long will it last?

Does it hurt?

Our clients are always surprised at how comfortable this procedure is. The product itself has lidocaine (local anaesthetic) in it, so it numbs after one or two seconds.

Are there any side effects?

As with any procedure that involves needles or cannulae, there is a chance of bruising, and/or swelling in the treated area. This is usually temporary, and settles within a few days. Other, less common, possible side effects are full discussed with the client before any treatment is performed.

How long will it last?

In this area, the results are usually very long lasting, about 18 months, sometimes more.

What if I do not like it?

I'm sure that you will! However, as with all of the hyaluronic acid fillers that we use, it can be dissolved using a product called hyaluronidase (Hyalase®), which works within a few hours of injecting it.
