Tear Trough Frequently Asked Questions
All of our clients are surprised at how comfortable this procedure is. We usually use a cannula, which minimises bruising, and the product itself has lidocaine (local anaesthetic) in it, so it numbs after one or two seconds.
As with any procedure that involves needles or cannula, there is a chance of bruising, and/or swelling in the treated area. This is usually temporary, and settles within a few days. Other, less common, possible side effects are fully discussed with the client before any treatment is performed.
In this area, the results are usually very long lasting, about 18 months, sometimes more.
I'm sure that you will! However, as with all of the hyaluronic acid fillers that we use, it can be dissolved using a product called hyaluronidase (Hyalase®), which works within a few hours of injecting it.
