What is Radiesse®?
Radiesse® is a long lasting dermal filler, which has excellent volumising properties. This is particularly useful when treating deeper lines on the face, such as naso-labial folds, marionette line, and in performing cheek and chin and jawline augmentations.
It is also excellent for rejuvenating the hands. Over time the plump layer of tissue on the back of the hands diminishes, allowing veins and tendons to become more visible. Radiesse® dermal filler will help put that plumpness back reducing the appearance of those ageing signs.
If you feel your hands could look and feel softer and more cared for now is the time. Thanks to the latest advances in aesthetic technology taking care of your hands couldn't be easier.

Radiesse® contains microspheres of a synthetically produced compound called Calcium Hydroxylapatite [CaHA], suspended in a gel carrier. CaHA is a naturally occurring substance in the skeletal system of the body. The gel carrier is absorbed after a few months, leaving the microspheres of CaHA and the natural 'scaffolding' left by collagen deposition, which provide an excellent cosmetic result for up to 2 years.
Radiesse® remains soft and pliable, and takes on the characteristics of surrounding tissue. No test injection is required due to Radiesse's natural product formulation and biocompatibility profile.
How long will a treatment last?
Treatments typically take around 30 minutes and the discomfort level is minimal. The results are instant and Radiesse® products are long lasting but not permanent. You always have a choice to continue or change the combination of treatments - and the procedure can be repeated as often as you like.
A touch-up treatment within 2 to 4 weeks after the initial treatment can sometimes be necessary to achieve an optimal correction. It should be noted that clinical experience indicates that follow-up treatments normally require a smaller amount of the product.
Radiesse® is fully broken down by the body and naturally metabolised over time.
